Rural Workforce Agency Victoria: Outreach service provider

Calling Psychologists Dietitians and Audiologists – Are you interested in providing outreach services to rural communities and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities in Victoria?

Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV) is hosting a webinar on ‘How to be an Outreach Service Provider’ on the 23rd February at 12pm-1pm – www.rwav.com.au

About:

RWAV facilitates a number of Commonwealth Government funded programs to support health professionals to provide outreach services in regional, rural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Victoria on a pro bono basis.

The programs work to increase access to maternal and paediatric, mental health, chronic disease management and ear and eye health care for these communities, which would otherwise not have such access.

RWAV can provide funding to cover out of pocket expenses related to providing these vital health care services such as travel, accommodation, administration support and associated costs.

Here’s what you can learn:

  • Hear about the different Commonwealth funded Outreach Programs at RWAV
  • Learn how RWAV can support health professionals in providing Outreach Visits
  • Benefits of Outreach and working in regional, rural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Victoria.
  • Register here to join the webinar and learn about how to be an Outreach Service provider in rural and regional Victoria.

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email. Please make sure to save the date in your calendar and we hope to see you there!
