MSAV calls for resumption of Enterprise Agreement negotiations with Dorevitch
The MSAV has this week written to Dorevitch and Gippsland Pathology management requesting that negotiations for a new enterprise agreement resume as soon as possible.
The letter reminds management that Dorevitch and Gippsland Pathology pay rates are now sitting around 17% lower than the rates in other private pathology agreements. This is obviously a massive difference and comes from this management’s hard line position of refusing to offer any increases since July 2007. In July 2013 it will be 6 years since Dorevitch and Gippsland Pathology staff have had an enterprise agreement wage increase.
These negotiations remain our best opportunity to achieve fair and reasonable wage increases.
In the meantime the Union will talk directly to members about the negotiations and how we can work together to get what we need.
