March Week of Action to Keep Blood Safe

Following on from our highly successful Week of Action in February we’ve decided to have another Week of Action.
Starting on 24 March, our committed volunteers who want to Keep Blood Safe will be handing out leaflets across Melbourne’s CBD. And we’ll also be hitting some of the train stations through Melbourne’s city-loop.

This is a great opportunity to join with others to make sure more people know about the Blood Service’s plans to cut scientists from testing and processing blood donations. It’s also a great opportunity to be able to directly share your story with people.

Our Week of Action Schedule

Monday: State Library from 12pm to 2pm – CANCELLED DUE TO POOR WEATHER
Tuesday: Melbourne Central Train Station at 8am to 9am – meet under the clock at 7:45am
Wednesday: Bourke Street Mall from 12pm to 2pm – meet on the corner of Bourke & Elizabeth Sts at 11:45am
Thursday: North Melbourne Train Station at 8am to 9am – meet outside the station at 7:45am
Friday: South Bank Donor Centre from 12pm to 2pm – meet on the corner of Clarke & Hancock Sts (South Melbourne) at 11:45am
